We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service or orders where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse of our website, payment issues, pricing errors, or product unavailability.

Products

Plate Land specialises in custom show plates for cars and related products and accessories.

Our show plates are intended for show, display, decorative, photography, exhibition, off-road, private-property, or similar purposes only.

Important — Show Plates Are Not Road Legal

Plate Land show plates are not sold or supplied as road-legal vehicle registration plates.

They may not meet the legal requirements applicable to registration plates used on public roads in the United Kingdom or other countries.

It is the customer's responsibility to understand and comply with the vehicle registration and number plate laws that apply in the country, state, province, territory, or other jurisdiction where the product will be used.

By purchasing a show plate from Plate Land, you acknowledge that:

• The product is sold as a show/display plate;

• It is not represented or advertised by Plate Land as road legal;

• You are responsible for how and where you use the product; and

• You are responsible for checking applicable local laws before fitting or displaying the product on a vehicle.

Plate Land accepts no responsibility for fines, penalties, enforcement action, vehicle inspection failures, or other consequences resulting from the use of a show plate contrary to applicable laws or regulations, to the extent permitted by law.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs, descriptions, colours, measurements, specifications, and other information displayed on our website are accurate. However, minor differences in appearance, colour, finish, positioning, or other characteristics may occur because of manufacturing processes, lighting, photography, or individual screen settings.

All products are subject to availability.

Custom & Personalised Products

Many Plate Land products are custom-made or personalised specifically according to information supplied by the customer.

Customers are responsible for checking all information submitted when ordering, including:

• Registration text;

• Letters and numbers;

• Spelling;

• Spacing;

• Plate size;

• Plate style;

• Colours;

• Badges or other selected options; and

• Any other customisation.

Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Once production of a personalised product has begun, we may be unable to change or cancel the order.

Where permitted by applicable consumer law, cancellation or change-of-mind rights may not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

This does not affect any rights you may have where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from its description.

Pricing & Payments

Prices are displayed on our website and confirmed during checkout.

Depending on your location, prices may be displayed in different currencies or converted by our website, payment provider, or your bank.

Payments are securely processed through the payment methods made available at checkout.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may charge currency conversion or international transaction fees. Unless otherwise stated, these charges are outside Plate Land's control and are the customer's responsibility.

We reserve the right to change prices, promotions, products, or availability at any time. Changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted, except where there has been an obvious pricing or technical error.

Orders

After placing an order, you may receive an automated order confirmation. Receipt of this confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• A product is unavailable;

• Payment cannot be authorised;

• Information supplied is incomplete or incorrect;

• There is an obvious pricing or listing error;

• We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or

• We cannot legally or practically fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after taking payment, any amount due to you will be refunded to the original payment method.

International Shipping & Delivery

Plate Land ships internationally.

Available destinations and shipping options may vary and will be displayed at checkout where applicable.

Delivery estimates are estimates unless we expressly state that a particular delivery date is guaranteed.

International orders may take longer because of customs processing, local postal services, international courier networks, border controls, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Plate Land cannot guarantee that an order will arrive within an estimated delivery timeframe.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an order cannot be delivered because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping or redelivery costs may be charged where permitted by law.

Customs, Import Duties & Taxes

International shipments may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, handling charges, or other fees imposed by the destination country or relevant authorities.

Unless we expressly state otherwise at checkout, any import duties, taxes, customs charges, or similar fees imposed after purchase are the responsibility of the customer.

Plate Land does not control these charges and cannot guarantee whether they will apply or how much they will be.

Customers are responsible for checking the import rules and requirements applicable in their destination country before ordering.

Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Because many Plate Land products are personalised and manufactured according to customer-supplied specifications, change-of-mind cancellation and return rights may not apply where an exemption for personalised or custom-made goods is available under applicable law.

This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

If your product arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

• Your order number;

• A description of the issue; and

• Clear photographs or other reasonable evidence showing the problem.

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

Where a return is required because we supplied a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product, return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method.

Incorrect Customer Customisation

Plate Land manufactures personalised products based on the information submitted by the customer.

If a product has been manufactured correctly according to the information provided with the order, we are not responsible for customer errors such as incorrect registration text, spelling, spacing, size, colour, style, or other customisation selections.

Please carefully review all customisation details before completing your order.

If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact platelandbusiness@gmail.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once production has started.

Use of Our Products

Customers are responsible for using Plate Land products safely, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable laws.

Our show plates are not sold as road-legal registration plates.

The availability of a particular design, font, spacing, colour, badge, finish, or other customisation option on our website does not mean that the resulting plate is legal for use on public roads in your jurisdiction.

It is the customer's responsibility to determine whether and where a product may legally be used.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Plate Land name, branding, website design, original graphics, original photographs, written content, and other original materials appearing on our website belong to Plate Land or are used with appropriate permission.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, or commercially used without permission except where permitted by law.

Any third-party trademarks, vehicle manufacturer names, logos, registration marks, or other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plate Land will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for consequences arising from a customer's unlawful, improper, or unintended use of our products.

In particular, Plate Land is not responsible for a customer's decision to use a show plate on a public road or in another situation where that plate does not comply with applicable legal requirements.

Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Payment information may also be processed by third-party payment providers in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.

Third-Party Services
